Concert Shoot Lady Lamb The Bee Keeper at Port City Music Hall 2/2/10 The stage lighting for this shoot was superb, and I was able to incorporate it a lot in the form of sun spots as the show went on. This show was covered with two cameras on either side of the stage.

Timothy Findlen Performance from the Dead of Winter show at The Space Gallery in Portland, ME Here is an example of the more intimate examples of a captured live performance. Single performer shot up close with a wide angle lens and a slightly profiled side camera. I enhanced the color saturation in post production a bit to give a slightly warmer feel to the scene.

  Live Performance Kait - Ma Fire Dancer This footage was taken from two angles during the Sanctuary Tattoo 10th anniversary party on 5/7/10. We were hired to cover the 6 hour event, and captured a lot of amazing things before the night was over. This clip was assembled to give to Kait – Ma for promotional purposes.

"As Time Goes By" Dance Preformance Sample: For live performances, it is a fact that stage shows are always better in person than they are on TV. That being said, I do every thing I can in my power to make the living room viewing as close to seeing the actual show as possible. This video is comprised of footage taken at 5 performances of a dance presentation that I shot. These performances were then mixed together to create one show. Two main enhancements were added to this scene using my editing software. First was that of combining a close up with a distance shot to allow full view of the choreography while showing a bit of the facial drama up close. The second was adding more soft glow to the lighting to bring out a bit more of the emotion in the final moments of the scene. As the couple grow closer together, the glow intensifies until they pull away again, cutting back to a stark, real contrast. Live show performed by the Vivid Motion Dance Company.   Flithy Things CD Release Show This is the intro segment to a DVD I made for a show at Gino’s in Portland. The Occasion marked the release of the latest album by Olivia Cornell & The Precious. A month later I ended up producing a music video for them as well. This is an example of how the details surrounding a show’s guests, and the atmosphere can be incorporated to provide a much more immersive experience than when the stage is the only focus of a taping. For concerts and events like these, we generally have one camera centered on the stage while a smaller, wandering cam travels around the theater.

"From the Lake" Dance Perfomance Sample: This was another scene from the same show, "Dance of War". A far more amazing performance to see live, however, through transparent layers and dissolves into different angles; I was able to do some justice to the mystique of this interpretation of the Lady of the Lake..

Amazing Grace, a Vivid Motion Performance: This was a dance choreographed by MJ Emerson. I shot two performances, one from the lighting booth, and the other front row, left side. Back at the time I shot this, I was experiencing some tripod malfunctions, but I managed to still get some fairly decent shots in.
